New Tartan Page

This is our new tartan, which has now been woven, and is in the process of being registered. It is based on the traditional 'green' McKay [ts 703] - to the unit cell of which has been added a dark purple band. 

In many of the 'new' tartan designs a surround frame is added in a lighter colour, or brighter elements are added to make it fancy.  It is then called the 'Dress' variant. 
Our new tartan is more of a 'work' colourway - designed primarily to identify us and to be suitable to be worn in informal as well as formal settings.
